These cartridges are designed for the use in Automated Soldering Processes. The new cartridge design includes a square cross-section that centers the cartridge perfectly into the Soldering Irons and guarantees precise vertical positioning. Due to this square cross-section the cartridge can be used in 4 different positions which can be changed in 90 steps. They are appropriate for connectors soldering purposes and they are perfect for both THT and SMT cable soldering or for applications with high power requirements such as ground plane soldering. R470 Cartridges Range are available in different shapes and sizes and have the same benefits as all the others Cartridge Ranges. This cartridge fits to TR470 Heavy Duty Soldering Tool and TRA470 Automatic Heavy Duty Soldering Tool. JBC also offers the possibility to manufacture your special tip geometry.
